  • Constitution of the Republic, which is who determines the general rules that guarantee ideal or suitable working conditions.
  • Labor Code, regulates relations between capital and labor, placing them on a basis of social justice.
  • Internal Work Regulations of each company, a set of mandatory rules that determine the conditions to which employers and workers must abide in the provision of services.
  • Minimum Wage Law, whose essential purpose is to determine the procedures for the application of the Minimum Wage and the Bodies in charge of its establishment, surveillance, control and compliance.
  • Executive Agreement STSS-006-2019, which determines the minimum wage for the Free Trade Zones.
  • Regulations for the payment of the Educational Bonus, a benefit granted to employees with minors in educational centers.
  • Law of the Seventh Day and Fourteenth Month in concept of Christmas Bonus, determines the right of the employee to receive Christmas bonus for his work effort.
  • Regulation of the Fourteenth month of salary as Social Compensation.
  • Decree 178-2016: Labor Inspection Law, in case the employer or employee wanted to file an administrative claim for faults committed by the opposing party.

  • Temporary Disability Regulations of the Honduran Social Security Institute, follow-up from temporary disabilities issued by the IHSS.
